Hamlet's Dilemma

I feel as if Hamlet should have killed Claudius when he had the chance.  To me I feel like he is wasting more time by just waiting for Claudius to make a sin.  Claudius had done the worst sinful thing anyone could have done which is murdering someone, let alone his own brother.  When Claudius was admitting his sins, Hamlet should have been more angry because Claudius was saying that he is still sorry but he is still keeping the crown, the wife, everything.  That shows me that Claudius does not really care because I know if I ever heard the truth of my fathers death I would not stop to get my revenge, I would never hold back.  I feel as if Hamlet killed Claudius when he had the chance no one woud have known that Hamlet killed him.

To Be or Not To Be

I really found all the movies with the to be or not to be speech really stupid.  I felt like they were all bad that they could have been a whole lot better.  The modern version to be the worst because they really took it at a blockbuster.  In general that is the worst version of Hamlet.  The Mel Gibson version is just weird to me because Mel Gibson is to dramatic while playing Hamlet.  He makes me feel like Hamlet really is crazy which I find a waste of time.  The black and white version, I found the actor playing as Hamlet not taking his role serious, almost as if he did not care at all.  They could have found a way better actor then him.  In the other version when Hamlet is taking to the mirror I just found it random, it could have been better because I felt like it was going to be better.

Hamlet The Ghost Scene

In the first film of Hamlet the actor who was playing as Hamlet seem more scared almost like as if he was his shocked about seeing his father.  The music was loud and bold it kept my heart pounding because the music made me feel scared.  It made it seem like more of a scary movie. The lighting in the first moive was more darker then the others.  There was a lot of special in the first film like the smoke coming from the ground, the ground shaking too.  I really enjoyed the first film because i was really focus on this film then the others and i found it easier to understand.  The director showed how the Old Hamlet was killed and gave the people a vision.  In the Mel Gibson film Hamlet who was played by Mel seemed more crazy to see his father to see why he was in the real world and the music was just calm and the actors were staying calm.  To me it seemed as if Hamlet was sad to see his father in the Mel Gibson film. The lighting was not that dark as the first film.  The lighting made it seem like night just came upon the people.  I still understood the Mel Gibson film to because of how dramatic the characters were acting which really got my attention.  In the third film when Hamlet saw his father he was more calm he talked to the ghost like a normal person.  The music was smooth it really did not get my attention and there was not any special effetcs.  Also this director did not use any flashbacks he only gave us words for the people to image the death of the king. Another thing is that i did not like how the setting was modern it because i found even harder to understand Hamlet
